Well here we are once again September 11th
This is more of a short personal Public Service Announcement (PSA) for anyone that stumbles across my blog today (9/11/18) or any day.
I’d say happy (insert day here) but this is always a rough day that’s a little tough to be happy about. Of course I am happy I am here and you are too if you’re reading this.
Personally I avoid NYC as well as newspapers, TV, radio and most media today.
Sadly, like many others, I can close my eyes and vividly remember the day it all happened as if it was yesterday; the things I saw and how surreal it all seemed.
For the first few years I’d just go far away and shut down but that becomes harder and harder as time goes on. It was a day that nightmares are truly made of which I don’t really speak of or think about and whenever I see a “never forget” I think to myself how could I and if I could, I might… Well to be 100% honest I would.
But like anything we have to look at the positive side we (the ones reading this) are all still here able to spend time with friends, family, and even people that annoy us 
Yes.. Take a moment, not just today, but everyday to remember all of those people who can’t be with us as well as the military men & women who sacrifice daily to keep us as safe as possible.
I realize I have placed some photos of American flags in this post but this isn’t about being American this is about just being.
Whether you live in NYC, Kansas, Texas, Thailand, England or anywhere on the planet. We all have a limited, unknown amount of time so use it wisely.
